Gothic Castle, first post-graduation project I've done. I actually had the idea during my senior year of college. I was taking the 3Denvironment class, and what came to mind first was a huge gothic castle-like something out of the Dark Souls series. However, I was too scared of the huge task of making such a thing that I instead chose to do another project that I felt I could manage and complete, which was actually the wizard cabin I have here on my portfolio as well, which turned out amazing and am just as proud of. That said, I came back a revisited the idea and here it is. I blocked it out in Maya, did the uvs then moved to Zbrush to give some of the shapes a more natural worn look, then it was off too substance painter where I texture some of the assets, and finally imported everything to unreal engine 5 and light the scene there.
